Lisa AuklandBel Air, MarylandAs one of America's most highly decorated NPC amateurs, Lisa Aukland earned her pro status winning the overall 2001 IFBB North American Championships, after also winning three consecutive overall NPC Team Universe crowns. At the Ms. Olympia, Lisa has made steady progress placing sixth in 2004, fifth in 2006, and fourth in 2007. That notable improvement, along with victories at the '06 and '07 Atlantic City Pro Championships, has made her a major player in elite pro events. The 2008 Ms. International will be Lisa's sixth watch to this event where she has placed as high as fourth in 2005 and 2007.

Tracy Beckham began competing in her native Canada in 1986 when she won the middleweight class at the Alberta Provincial Championships. A year later she represented Canada at the Hawaiian Invitational. With several years away from competition to establish her career, Tracy has enjoyed good success more recently at events such as the 2004 NPC Masters Nationals where she won the light-heavyweight class. In 2007 she won an overall victory at the NPC Team Universe qualifying her for the IFBB pro ranks.
The 2008 Ms. International will be Tracy's pro debut.

Born in Haiti and raised in Canada, Dayana has long been Canada's most successful female bodybuilder and one of the leaders among IFBB pros. Dayana has competed in eight Ms. Olympia contests, winning the lightweight class in 2004, and placing second in 2006 and 2007. A winner of the lightweight class at the Ms. International in 2001 and 2004, 2008 will mark her ninth watch to this event. In 2007 she placed sixth at the Ms. International and second at the Ms. Olympia. Dayana will once again battle her longtime nemesis, Iris Kyle, in an effort to dethrone the defending champion .

Not since the days of Cory Everson, Lenda Murray and Kim Chizevsky has a bodybuilder dominated the competitive scene like Iris Kyle. Already with a future place in Bodybuilding's Hall of Fame, Iris has been a juggernaut when it comes to placing at the world's most prestigious contests. In a career that began in 1994, the 1998 NPC USA overall champion has won four Ms. Olympia titles, three Ms. International crowns, and has placed no worse than second in either of those events since 2001. At this, her eighth Ms. International, she hopes to become the first competitor ever to win four Ms. International titles.

Kristy HawkinsPasadena, California
Competing since 1998, Hawkins turned pro after winning the light-heavyweight class and overall 2007 NPC National titles in impressive fashion last November. A steady improver since 2003, her only other victory came at the 2003 NPC Pittsburgh, but her placements at national-level events managed to keep her out of the intense glare of attention until 2007. Kristy showed a highly-defined physique that had fans buzzing at the National Championships. Competing as a light-heavyweight, she was fourth in 2005 and third in 2006. Her 2007 model caught virtually everyone's eye. Now she's ready to make her pro debut at the 2008 Ms. International.

Born in Barbados and growing up in a family of eight children, Rosemary Jennings was a longtime New Yorker before moving to Florida two years ago. Turning pro after winning the middleweight and overall crowns at the 2002 NPC USA, Rosemary posted her first pro victory at the 2005 New York Pro Championships. With two previous top-ten finishes at the Ms. Olympia in 2003 and 2005, she hopes to improve on her 15th-place finish from 2007 in what will be her third invitation at this year's Ms. International.

No matter what contest Debi Laszewski enters, fans go away with a clear visual of her look on stage. With an abundant combination of muscular shapes, body awareness, and a steamy stage persona, Debi has risen to the top level in the pro ranks. She caught fire winning the overall 2006 NPC Southern States, followed by a light-heavyweight victory at the NPC Nationals earning her IFBB pro status. Debi made her debut with a third at the Europa Super Show last August, then matched that with another third-place spot at the Atlantic City Pro Championships. At her first Ms. International event, Debi has guaranteed the audience will be left with a ‘clear visual' of her physical qualities.

Cathy LeFrancoisEl Monte, California
One of bodybuilding's most striking and colorful performers, Cathy Lefrancois earned pro status in 1995 after winning the Canada Cup Championships. Since then she has finished fourth as a lightweight at the 2000 and 2003 Ms. Olympia contests. Cathy has been a favorite at the Ms. International, winning the 2003 lightweight class. After a move to the Pro Figure division in 2005, Cathy returned to bodybuilding in 2006 with a ninth-place finish at the Atlantic City Pro show. Last year, while still making an effort to return to her former bodybuilding form, Cathy placed 10th at the Ms. International.

Colette Nelson brings an entertaining brand of muscle presentation that is always fiery and energetic. Winning the heavyweight class at the NPC USA in 2001 and 2002, Colette turned pro in 2005 after winning the heavyweight title at the 2004 NPC Team Universe, and the IFBB North American Championship, and IFBB World amateur Championship overall crowns. She has competed on four occasions including a third-place finish at the Europa Super Show, and a trip to the Ms. Olympia – both in 2006. Nelson has designs on making a notable impression on judges and fans with her physical display.

The 2008 Ms. International will be Yaxeni Oriquen's 38th pro contest in a career where she debuted in 1994. Now in her 15th year as an IFBB pro, the majestic Venezuelan has literally done it all. A 2005 Ms. Olympia winner, as well as a winner of the Ms. International in 2002, 2003, and 2005, she is one of only three women who have won the Ms. International and Ms. Olympia in the same calendar year. Yaxeni has also been a two-time champion at the GNC Show of Strength, as well as the 2004 Night of Champions winner. Entering her 11th consecutive Ms. International, Yaxeni is hoping to become the first four-time winner – an accomplishment Iris Kyle will also be chasing.

When Betty Pariso enters her 11th consecutive Ms. International this year, she will be past 51 years of age, and the senior member of those pros competing at the elite level. Without doubt, she has earned her presence at this event and has always made a strong showing with each appearance. Turning pro after winning the heavyweight class at the 1996 NPC Nationals, Betty has been an overall winner at the 2001 Jan Tana Classic, while also competing in six previous Ms. Olympia contests. A proud grandmother, she also serves as the IFBB pro women's division representative, and is an active promoter in both the NPC and IFBB organizations.

When fans call Annie Rivieccio a ‘blue collar' bodybuilder she simply smiles, knowing full well it is a compliment of the highest order. A veteran competitor who began her contest efforts in 1988, Annie spent 15 years in the amateur ranks before turning pro with an overall victory at the 2003 NPC Nationals. She made her pro debut at the 2004 Ms. International placing fourth in the heavyweight class, before finding the pro winner's circle at the 2005 New York Pro Championships. Since then she has continued to make excellent improvements and made a major breakthrough in 2006 when she placed third at the Ms. Olympia.
